What is on the Millage?

Benzie Bus is seeking a 5-year millage of 1.0 mils on all taxable property within Benzie County. This a NEW millage that will take the place of the current millage. It is not in addition to the current millage!

Why is it Needed?

The Millage will provide Benzie Bus with sustainable funding for vital transportation services for everyone in our community, particularly the most vulnerable populations. It will also provide an opportunity to expand operations to meet increased demand.

What is the Cost?

The Millage will cost the average Benzie County homeowner just $0.37 per day based on a market value of $272,000
