Benzie Bus announces Try Transit Day  - The Benzie Bus system invites the public to attend a Try Transit Breakfast at our new station from 7:00 – 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, at 14150 US Highway 31, about three miles east of Honor in Homestead Township.    In cooperation with the Michigan Land Use Institute and TART Trails the Benzie Bus is encouraging all Benzie County residents to participate in Smart Commute Week  during the week of June 4 – 8th.  Green commuting improves our health, increases mobility; decreases traffic congestion and can save you money.  Breakfast will be offered free of charge and the first 100 people will receive a free round trip bus pass to ride the Benzie Bus.   As a special treat for our bus passengers, our drivers will provide donuts as our way of saying “Thank You for trying Transit”.  For more information, call (231) 325-3000 or toll free (866) 325-3380 or visitwww.benziebus.com.

Benzie Bus can currently take anyone within the boundaries of Benzie County to any location within Benzie County. Reservations can be made by calling (231) 325-3000 or toll free 1-866-325-3380 during regular business hours.
